During the seminar "Surgeons and Engineers togheter. Innovation in surgery : experiences in action" (2018 23 february) the Foundation FACE3D donated to the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery of the S.Orsola Hospital - Bologna a new surgical navigator
This important 3D tool of the latest generation, enriches the technologically advanced equipment of this Department to implement both surgical and virtual 3D planning of the surgical project. An extremely important tool, which will allow even greater precision and accuracy in the reconstruction of the injured and/or malformed faces.
A beautiful day also thanks to Siria, a child affected by Traecher Collins syndrome, who witnessed the importance of having 3D tachnologies available, without which it would not be possible to cure such serious illnesses and syndromes.
We are very proud and happy to have achieved this beautiful goal and we thank all those who help us and support us in our work, such as the Association Re-Use With Love who decided to support us in the venture by donating us the proceeds of its Market in October 2017, allowing this important milestone to be achieved.
