WINNER of the Craniofacial Fellowship organised by Great Ormond Street Hospital of London
The Great Ormond Street Hospital is among the top ranking pediatrical hospitals in the world. Her pediatric facial cranio surgery department is among the best in the field of congenital craniofacial pathology. Every years more than 260.000 young patients affected by rare disease from UK and all over the world, come here. This hospital is a modern centre for the cure of pediatric diseases and for the research of new medical treatments.
Her story is connected to Peter Pan myth, the child who didn't want to grow up.
JM Barrie, the scottish author of Peter Pan, didn't have any children but he loved them and he wished they could be happy and healthy ; when he died in 1929, he left his copyright to Great Ormond Street Hospital to help its activity in favour of pediatric health.
